This product information corresponds to the patient leaflet, prescribed by law in Germany, in all essential parts.
 
Fields of application:
according to the homeopathic principles of therapy: among those are: states of agitation, nervous states of exhaustion and depressed mood; for supportive treatment of spasms and paralyses. Do not use Cefamanit® without medical advice, it does not replace other remedies prescribed in this regard. In case of persistent, unclear or newly occurring complaints, consult your physician.
 
Composition:
Active ingredient:
Tablets: 1 tablet contains: Amanita muscaria e thallo rec. trit. D6 250 mg
Drops: 10 ml contain: Amanita muscaria e thallo rec. dil. D6 10 ml
 
Excipients:
Tablets: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate.
 
Contra-indications:
do not apply Cefamanit® in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to the active ingredient or to one of the excipients. Children: sufficiently documented empirical information is not available for the use of this medicament in children. Therefore it should not be used by children under 12 years.
Additionally for drops: must not be used by alcoholics.
 
Precautions for use and warnings:
as there is not sufficiently documented empirical information available for the use in pregnancy and lactation and due to the alcohol content of the drops, the medicament should only be used during pregnancy and lactation after consultation of a physician.
Additionally for tablets: this pharmaceutical contains lactose.
The intake of larger quantities of the pharmaceutical can lead to gastro-intestinal complaints or result in a laxative effect in persons suffering from lactose intolerance.
Additionally for drops: Cefamanit® drops contain 50 vol.-% alcohol.
Due to the alcohol content, liver patients should consult a physician.
 
Dosage:
Tablets: unless otherwise prescribed, in acute cases take 1 tablet every half or whole hour, 6 times a day at the most. Application for more than one week only after consultation of a homeopathically experienced therapist. In chronic cases take 1 tablet once to three times a day.
Drops: unless otherwise prescribed, in acute cases take 5 drops every half or whole hour, 6 times a day at the most. Application for more than one week only after consultation of a homeopathically experienced therapist. In chronic cases take 5 drops once to three times a day.
 
Kind and duration of application:
Tablets: Cefamanit® tablets can be chewed or swallowed with some liquid (e.g. water).
Drops: Cefamanit® drops can be taken undiluted or diluted with some liquid, e.g. water.
For the withdrawal of the drops, please hold the bottle in a diagonal position.
With improvement of the complaints, the frequency of the intake has to be reduced.
Even homeopathic remedies should not be taken over a longer period of time without consulting a physician.
 
Undesirable effects:
none known. Note: existing complaints may temporarily appear to become worse when homeopathic agents are taken (initial aggravation).
